Three national award categories
National Award for SENDCo of the Year
Celebrates the dedication, expertise and impact of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinators (SENDCos) across UAE schools. This award recognises the individuals who shape whole-school inclusion strategy.
Eligibility
- Currently employed as a SENDCo or Inclusion Co-ordinator in a UAE school
- Demonstrated measurable impact on inclusion outcomes
- Evidence of collaborative practice with teachers, families, and external specialists
- Commitment to continued professional development
National SEN Teacher of the Year Award
Recognises a teacher who has demonstrated consistent impact in supporting students with special educational needs. For classroom educators whose inclusive practice raises achievement for every learner.
Eligibility
- Currently teaching in a UAE school
- Demonstrated evidence of differentiated and inclusive classroom practice
- Positive outcomes for students with identified learning needs
- Peer or leadership endorsement of inclusive methods
National LSA of the Year Award
Recognises an LSA who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the children they support and to their own professional growth. For the practitioner who makes a real difference every single day.
Eligibility
- Currently working as an LSA in a UAE school or family setting
- Evidence of meaningful impact on a child's learning journey
- Commitment to training and professional development
- Demonstrated collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff

Quality Standard
The Incluzun National Quality Standard
A national framework for inclusion providers, assessed on a three-year cycle. The Quality Standard is designed to raise and maintain benchmarks for LSA practice, school inclusion policy, and family support across the UAE. Providers who meet the standard receive formal recognition.

- LSA training and professional development
- Family communication and progress reporting
- School collaboration and IEP alignment
- Safeguarding and data protection compliance
- Continuous improvement and review cycle
Rules
Guidelines & rules
Open to all UAE-based educational institutions and practitioners.
Judging is carried out by an independent panel of inclusion specialists. Their decisions are final.
All submissions are treated in strict confidence. Entry materials will not be shared outside the judging process.
Entry is free. There is no fee to nominate or apply.
Submissions must include a written application. High-resolution supporting materials (logos, headshots, videos) are welcome but not required.
